Claiming research outputs brought in from external databases

As an ongoing process publication data automatically brought into the system.

Academics are asked to view these publications and claim or disclaim them as appropriate.

Add research output from an online source

To minimize the effort of adding your research output to Pure, you can import your publications from online databases. Whether you are getting started with Pure and want to populate all of your past publications or looking for a recent item of research output, this can save you time and reduce data entry errors.

Before you do this step, make sure to set up a regular automated search across online sources for your publications.

See the manual ‘How to enable automated search for publications’

To learn how to add research output from an online source, please see the attached guide.

Add research output from BibTex,  RIS and CERIF files

Publication details can be downloaded from online sources or databases to which Pure does not normally connect. Pure supports import in RIS, BibTeX or CERIF formats. RIS or BibTex files can be downloaded from many databases, web sites and reference managers including RefWorks, EndNote and Google Scholar.
